Introduction to Jen-ology Posts: 11 09/01/09 6:48 AM	Tags : None Sorry for my bad english hehe and for all my quastions I write here but it´s fun to know what you guys thinks. So which time in Jennifers career is your favourite?Mine is Rebirth Era.I loved her sound,look and she also did Monster In Law and that´s my favourite movie of her hehe.I think is so sad that she just released 2 singles of the album!

By the way I'd love Love don't cost a thing and others videoclips from J.LO album. In 1999-2001 Jennifer sang latino-pop and I think it is the best style for her. But to be honest I think all these years are her the best time! I think that Jenny grew up and that's why she often change her music style :-) I love all her transformations and it's a wonderful thing to be able to observe her career:) Sorry for mistakes

At that time no matter where i went there was always somebody talking about her, listening to a song or reading a magazine with news about her. She was like the biggest female start in the world, everybody was seeking for "Bennifer" so i came to know more about her at this point. She was successful in all: Music: TIMT sold almost 8 million albums worldwide. Movies: Maid in Manhattan, her most succesfull movie in the U.S.A Fashion Line: J.LO cleared more than 300 million in income on 2003. Fragrance: Feels like i still feel the smell of "Glow" in the air... I mean, musically speaking i don't like "TIMT" so much, i prefer "J To tha Lo", but i still remember that Hip Hop/R&B was becoming popular here in Brazil and Jenny from The block and All i have were megahits here. Actually Jenny from the block was one of the most played songs in the year and in my class there were always 3 or 4 girls singing All i have all the time (They didn't sing well, but i liked that, they were singing the song of my favorite artist, that's what i felt!). Here in Brazil that was her higher point. We just came to know who was really Jennifer Lopez after 2001 or 2002 (Just a few people knew her before that). I remember the first time i heard a song of hers, it was If you Had my love, which was one of the themes of a Brazilian teen Soap opera, i just heard the intro and i got crazy with that asking "Who sings?", a few days after i saw her on Disney channel in the video of "Ain't it funny", and i noticed that just people with Cable Tv knew who was Jennifer Lopez at the point, but in The TIMT Era everybody came to know who was she. So when we came to really know Miss Lopez she was already like "Oh My God, the most beautiful, the most succesful latina, the hottest"... I miss those days!

I feel like that era had a great start. The New Year Eve sneak peak at the GR video, Beyond The Runway, the surprise remix of GR were great, but somehow everything stopped soon after that.

I have my little list " Jen's Ghost Manager	I would probably say the OT6 era. I too really liked the Rebirth era it started great. I think she really looked great during that era. The CAUM/Brave era was really good and very exciting with 2 albums and 2 movies in one year. The first half CAUM was really good then the Brave half not so good.

Intermediate Jen-ology Posts: 160 09/02/09 12:25 AM	This is Me... Then!!!! Jennifer was everywhere then and was on top of the world. I love when she did Oprah. Plus her look was so classy and sexy during that era. Her clothes, hair, and makeup were perfection!!!! Everytime she hit the red carpet she was on every magazine's best dressed list. I also loved the J to the Lo era. I think before that she was too sexy and not classy enough and then after she got married to marc she got so demure and when she does sexy it doesn't have quite the same effect.
