If you think over 5 year periods 2010-? - TBUP. 2005-2009 - MIL, AUL, EC & BTWN - 4 movie releases (average of nearly one movie a year). 2000-2004 - WP, TC, AE, Engh, MIM, Gi, SWD* - 7 movie releases ( average of one/two a year). 1995-1999 MF, MT, JACK, B&W, SELENA, ANA, OOS, U-TURN, ANTZ - 9 movie releases (average of two a year).

Extraordinary Measures?! Puuleeese! And she knows nothing about romantic comedies. What would make you think she does, Les? It’s a mess over at CBS films. Todd Black (a/k/a Jlo bff to her face at least) is running around town telling everyone that the reason the movie tested in the low 60’s is because of JLO. I’d say it’s because it’s a lame story (TV movie) that we’ve (yawn) all seen before. Mr. Black you talk with forked tongue. Telling Jen how great it is. Telling others how you wished you’d cast Sandra B. I wouldnt want to believe that - but sometimes comments on DHD are true for 'insider' gossip.

Where did you got the low 60s result ? i was at one of those screening and that would be surprising, i’m not into rom-coms but that was actually a good one and the audience there loved it.

Doctor of Jen-ology Posts: 15698 02/07/10 3:14 PM Jen's movie maven '09 Best threadmaker '09	yeah i don't think i believe the low 60s thing i got 5 feedbacks from the screenings all of them very positive and all of them told me that the audience present loved it, that poster at deadline always post this kind of messages and he seem to have something against Todd Black, she/he posted pretty much the smae message under 3/4 post there. ALso he says that Amy Baer doesn't know a thing about rom-coms while she worked on 3/4 big ones, like My best friends wedding and Something gotta give. I really hope it's not true but even if it i guess those thing don't mean much, EM was apparently in the 90s but the critics didn't like it and it didn't do well at all despite the big promotion. Well something like those with a really famous male lead (Brad Pitt would be ideal as he can do off-beat comedy but hasn't really done a film in the way I'm suggesting) or someone cheaper for us like Paul Rudd. I remember when we discussed ages ago when she joined UTA that the agency is quite comedy-focused, and if she does well in TBUP they might try to run with comedy as a direction for her. A musical comedy would also really work as a different spin on a dramtic musical and I can see that really working. I have lots of ideas!!! (Would definately get noms for best musical&comedy!!)
