Get Right was a HUGE hit around the world. Bigger than it was in the US. Thats why she would. Plus as others have said, her strong sales.

,The record company is still definitely paying for promotion cause JLO is performing in MIA superbowl weekend and sony gotta pay for dancers , hair, makeup, etc.....so they are deifinitly putting out the album....the question is when and what are they gonna do for a SINGLE....guess we will have to jus wait an see....but they are definitely still spending mony on JLO

^that doesn't necessarily mean the label is funding that. jen can book a club on her own and im sure LIV would cut HER a check. i doubt the label is behind her performance this SAT. im actually doubting shes really performing anyway. They said she was last time and that didn't happen. I'm going expecting an appearance. If she performs it will be a BIG PLUS! lol

selena lopez wrote: Wrong choice of words I didn't mean to use "as you guys say" because I can clearly see that she has sold more worldwide than the U.S. even though in the U.S. she has had 4 #1 hits and sold millions of albums (but you guys always want to compare the U.S. with sales of the rest of the world um ok the U.S. Vs The World.. that's just sounds ridiculous obviously she's going to sell more) so ok that's fine I think all of us acknowledge the fact that she is an international superstar, but you guys are still not answering my questions. Since you guys go on about how she has sold more album outside the states and has more hits and has more sales and from what we ALREADY know "Hold You Down" was a Top 10 in the U.K. (I already know what) but why didn't she release more singles overseas if according to you guys she sells so well outside the states? And for "Brave"? And how well did "Hold it Don't Drop It" do since it was released only as a European single? I'll be waiting for all responses. Instead of disagreeing with me because I'm actually speaking the truth why don't you agree that it's basically like a chain reaction. Also you say you don't know what I'm sayin but yet you cleary wrote that the "The Emancipation Of Mimi" was successful off of one hit, but if you actually tooked the time to look up the information and knew what you was talking about you would know that on the Billboard Hot 100 "We Belong Together" was #1, "Shake it Off" peaked at #2, "It's Like That" peaked at #16, and "Don't Forget About Us" was another #1 from that album (although it was on the special edition but nevertheless another hit from that album) now I'm not genius but I think those were all Top 20 hits? Now getting back to Jennifer Lopez because Mariah isn't really my cup of tea. My point is that because of her lack of sales with "Rebirth" and "Brave" they pulled the plug on both albums and singles and that is why they didn't release more singles in Europe because obviously the U.S. is there main target.. that is all that I was trying to get at. And that is what I was trying to get across with "Louboutins". P.S. - Thank you to the other fans who agreed with me. ![]() And to the others I'm not starting anything I just want you guys to understand what I was trying to get across but instead I get attacked by my own fellow fans because I was stating my opinion... go figure.

JLOz1FaNaTiC wrote:I respect your opinion and I totally get what your getting at But my view is rebirth had lots of success and was selling fine then they pulled the plug on the album because sales started dropping! when all they had to do was just drop another single from rebirth and promote it! If they did that rebirth could of easy sold 4-6 million copies but the record company got scared as for brave it under-performed its sad but that's what happened and every artist has a album that stalls (you take the bad with the good) and also as for record sales and chart runs in the US (The biggest music market in the world) you have also got to look outside the box like the UK (the second biggest music market in the world) and here she has had 16 top 10 hits (10 of them been top 5 hits and 2 number 1 singles) and 3 top 15 hits! and she has sold 4.4 million albums in the UKselena lopez wrote: my point is if she keeps trying in the US and fails look were she can actually shift records and work harder there like Madonna and pink and Kylie does ![]() I don't want jennifer to fail and the US and then pull the album when the world is her oyster And also she needs to tour Europe/Asia even small venues to start of with but please Jennifer come to the UK

I don't know if someone post this already? "Despite being unable to crack the Billboard Hot 100 with her first single, ‘Louboutins’, from her upcoming ‘Love?’ LP, Jennifer Lopez remains on track to release the electro/dance album. Billboard.com indicates that the record features collaborations with Wynter Gordon, D’Mile, Danja and Mike Caren, who produced “drum-driven” ‘Everybody’s Girl’. As reported earlier, ‘Love?’ hits stores in April. As much as I’m sure her fans want this album, there has been little to no buzz on the radio for the LP. If the performance of ‘Louboutins’ is any indication of what to expect, Lopez may very well be on track for the lowest sales of her career. As artists such as Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson, both of whom Lopez’s musical stylings have been compared, have been struggling maintain their relevancy on the charts, there is a lot of doubt to whether she can have a successful return. Here’s hoping that her next single at least enters the Hot 100." |

I agree with her promoting more outside of the US (even though I'm from the US). It's not that she has to abandon the states, she would just have to cater more to other places & show her appreciation there through shows and stuff. That could be a good way to regain buzz/hype, if she has a really good response elsewhere and then gains back her credibility and interest after people see that she still has something to offer. |

^ what make you say that it's not true? she said that she doesn't know when the album is coming out now ! and that blogger still say that the album is coming out in April so if there is negativity it's just because it's not working not because of us.
