yeah but it's a totaly different audience it's not like if it was a rom-com with Reese Witherspoon that would be a problem. TBUP doesn't have to be #1 to be succefull, and great first week with around $18M even at #2 would be great.

Its going to be a dead heat between Wall Street 2(because of Oliver Stone, Michael Douglas is no more a draw ) and TBUP.
The first week I will go to see TBUP 2 or 3 times lol, and the next week I will go to see wall Street 2.

yeah, but as far as their promotion is going I guess they are trying to make another record, #1 movie and #1 album in same week

I think 23 April is better date than 16 ... on 23th TBUP is only comedy and only one real opponent ... 2nd place for sure maybe 1st ... I think it's a lot easier for Jenny to be number 1 on box office than on Billboard hot 200 ...

OOh, everyone blinked. I read that Titans might move last week. That movie has had a lot of buzz and now since it'll be in 3D, everyone is scared.

I think this is a much better date. I don't think that weekend has a lot of competition, but the holdovers from previous weekends might be. I really don't see Wall Street 2 being a hit. I haven't seen a trailer or anything, though.

Umm to be honest I think they should move it a little more cuz I was looking at the trailer and Clash of the Titans looks like it will be there for a couple of weeks. Plus I don't think it's a good idea for it to go up against Wall Street. uggg I want to choke the ppl that moved Clash of the Titans!!!!

Im glad they moved it. Love it when studios are proactive in shifting things around. Its definately a better date.

I think even if Wall St 2 is No1, it wouldn't be as big a No1 as Titans. I do think though that Shia La Boeuf has a strong following.

^I disagree about Shia. All of his movies have been tentpoles or thrillers. This is neither one. The original Wall Street is from when? The 80s, I think. I don't think it's going to be a huge movie.

I dont care if its not #1, just like her albums. If her albums have good overall sales, the position does not matter. Same with her films. If this has a strong month and does well worldwide, it could gross over 100 million, which is better than a #1 debut and less-than-stellar end results.

That said, a #1 film would be a good headline for her "comeback". We'll see....
