I don't even want to talk about the Latin Grammy's are they even recognized yet? lol
Didn't they make a seperate show for Latinos because my fellow Latinos felt the "Grammys" didn't have many catogories for them? Either way many people don't even acknowledge them even if J.Lo won a Latin Grammy it would probably be an equivalent to winning a Premio Lo Nuestro or a Moonman... imo anyway. Will she will ever win a Grammy.. I don't know but I hope she does! Some people who have won in the past were questionable like I mean seriously Ciara won one for being featured on Missy Elliott's "Lose Control" for "Best Short Form Music Video" and T-Pain for "Best Rap Song" for being featured on Kanye West's "Good Life".. I mean come on seriously. lol Either way even if she won one Grammy Award I would still be really proud of her but hey maybe one year it will happen. I always thought she will eventually win a Grammy Award even if that was like 7 years ago but I still have faith in her plus she's probably more closer to a Grammy than an Oscar lol |

CAUM in the category Latin Pop Albums! I was so unfair for Jennifer not to be nominated for her Spanish album specially because it got very good reviews (better than other spanish albums), was the BEST selling FEMALE album and one of the best selling albums of 2007 in spanish and also ..... CAUM sold very well and top the charts of some countries where spanish is not the first lenguage and where of course other spanish albums never reached such spositions in sales. I still can NOT believe it! Oh well maybe when she launch another good album in spanish she can get her deserved Grammy!

i think she ruined her chances at getting nominated by using too much background vocals and incorporating way too much old songs in her music, like All I Have is basically the same melody as Very Special by Debra Laws, Get Right is built around the Soul Power song, JFTB uses at least 3 other songs...
i think she'd have a shot at nomination for Best Dance Recording with Play, if only Christina Milian wasnt so loud in the chorus. or Best Rap/sung collabo with her Murder inc remixes...or something else from the J to tha L-O album and On The 6 reviews weren't good enough for the academy considering her for the Best New Artist category. |
