Obsessed started as a flop, and then became a hit
i remember no radio played the song, people didnt like the performances etc... and then suddendly the song became a hit, started to go high on itunes, video and song requested etc... let's hope LouBoutins has the same destiny

I really don't know what they should do and I think that's why they haven't shot a video because they must be trying to figure it out also because
they have already spent so much money on promo. To be honest I think they've done everything right already. They amped up the sex appeal and she's
performed it at so many huge events. Honestly a lot of people are talking about her again because of her fall and her New Year's outfit.
To be honest I for one really love the "Louboutins," I listen to it everyday so it's a little hard for me to comprehend why this thing is not taking off besides maybe the fact that people aren't even giving it a chance cuz they think it's about the brand and not really listening to the lyrics, cuz those lyrics have major swagger and are very empowering. Another thing is I guess people don't like that she's singing about shoes that only very few fans can afford. But I don't know I see figuratively not like actually going out there and buying a pair of Louboutins and leaving that cheater. However, if radio starts to pick up on airplay of the song maybe it will be like all of Pink's singles and take forever to climb the charts. Even Obsessed took forever but then it finally got to number 7. I honestly thought this would be like Mariah's comeback. I thought the first single wouldn't do so well but at least her name would be out there again, then they would have an amazing second single that would sky rocket! However, "It's like That" at least reached number 16, Louboutins didn't even chart after three high profile performances and two weeks on Itunes. I don't know maybe they should move on to another single and call this a buzz track. She should come with something extremely uptempo and extremely danceable and maybe have a feature but not something that looks desperate or awkward like Lil Wayne lol. |

Honestly I think Jenn needs another single and something really really amazing because it seems that the promo worked to get her name back out there but she
needs a song that people actually want.
Plus I just realized that maybe she should have released a movie before another CD because I feel like maybe it would have been easier for her to comeback in movies since the music industry is so shaky right now. Now I feel as though if she flops musically then that will affect how many people even bother watching the Back-Up Plan. Oh lord.

Like some people here said before, she should release another song and dont waste money for the video for Louboutins. imo, it's resonable. You see, she
spend money for FOTO video and now, no big channel play it except Youtube or some random fansite. We couldnt blame low position on there're not much people
hear it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people heard it after AMAs, Ellen, SYTYCD and NYE performances but it couldnt reach top 50.
There still a lil hope if she release video RIGHT NOW... but seems like she still enjoy her new year.

Jen has done really great promotion for this era. Performance @ AMA's,Ellen,SYTYCD and New Years Eve , radio interviews and everything.
Its about the song i think. It's just not good enough. I'm sure,if it was a different song and if Jen had promoted it like this,it'd be a hit. |
