I've said it before and I'll say it again -- there is something about Jennifer Lopez that I simply can't get enough of. I spin her CDs, pay for her movies and, if they were for boys, I would've rocked her Sweetheart fashion line like nobody's business. I'm hesitant to say she's a guilty pleasure, because I don't think there's anything wrong with adoring La Lopez. But for some reason she always seems determined to eradicate the impression that she is a capital D, Diva.

"First of all, I didn't even know I had a rider," she says in the January issue of Allure, referring to the notorious list of demands she supposedly sent out that required rooms to be draped in white silk and covered in matching flowers. "Can you imagine saying, 'I want everything white everywhere I go?' Crazy."

There is no denying Jennifer's a woman in control -- something that always seeps through in interviews no matter how hard she tries to seem easy, breezy. Whether she's talking about her career ("I had to work at it"), her body ("I'm not the monster I used to be in the exercise department") or her stardom ("I was always getting noticed. And I liked it. I liked it."), you can tell that nothing in her life is a fluke.

Which is just one of the things I admire about her. She is a self-made woman who should stop saying "sorry" any time she gets caught demanding something. Own it. Hell, she already owns everything else, one more thing won't hurt.
