Site Slips Up with Jennifer Lopez Fall

It may have been Jennifer Lopez who fell during last
night's American Music Awards, but it's "gossip
center" (celebrity-gossip.Net ) that should be embarrassed.

The site, which apparently suffers from irony
deficiency, interpreted Lopez's joke to Ryan
Seacrest that her spill "was part of the choreography"
as a straight-faced excuse.

"Did I trip a little bit? I don't even remember. Yeah, I
meant to do that," J. Lo told Seacrest on his radio show
this morning - clearly as a joke. But while it was obvious
to everyone else, Gossip Center took it in earnest, and
Lopez's "accidental tumble wasn't an accident at all."

Gossip Cop isn't quite sure how anyone could print
Lopez's observation, "The measure of things isn't what
happens when you fall, it's how you recover when you
fall," and still write a headline and story suggesting
the slip was a premeditated "part of the plan," but we
weren't about to let this one fall through the cracks.
