In September 2009 various messages appeared on twitter about an audition for a new JLo/Pitbull video. In an interview on the VMA red carpet Pitbull revealed he just shot a video with Jennifer for a song called "Lola" and that it was produced by Pharrell Williams. Early October a "Fresh Out The Oven" leaked on a 'mysterious' myspace WhoIsLola toghether with a sneak peek of the video on WhoIsLola.com. The music video premiered on a special event in Miami in club LIV. After various sneak peaks & tweets on Lola's twitter account the full video directed by Jonas Ackerlund was finally released on 20 November 2009 on Jennifer's official website.

The song was given to Jennifer by Amanda Ghost (President of Epic Records). It didn't suit the theme of the album, but they still wanted to release it so they decided to release it just for buzz under another artist name "Lola", Marc's nickname for Jennifer. This left Jennifer some space to do something totally different and experiment with a new look. A website & various accounts on social networking sites (Twitter, Myspace, Youtube) were made to promote the persona. Lola is only for this song and has nothing to do with the album ''Love?''.
