J-Lo plans special TV performance
Jennifer Lopez is planning a show-stopping performance for the American Music Awards.
The Latina singer will perform her new single Louboutins at the event, and her turn will include fireworks and an on-stage costume change.
Jennifer, who has baby twins with husband Marc Anthony, said the elaborate show - her first live TV performance in some time - was like "second nature" to her.
Of the performance, which will see her start off in a mock boxing ring, and end up in the audience - Jennifer said: "Dancing again, singing, the lights and the costumes - it all feels like second nature."
But she admitted she was feeling the slight twinge of nerves.
"You know what you're doing and you feel very good about it, but at the same time, you wouldn't be human if you're not afraid," she said after her rehearsal.
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert will also be performing, and plans to incorporate leather, chains and handcuffs into his routine.
Adam said he's eager to see how the star-studded crowd responds to his provocative performance, a sexed-up rendition of For Your Entertainment, the first single off his upcoming album of the same name.
"It will be really interesting to see what kind of reaction the number gets. It's different. It really does have an edge to it," he said.
Other artists set to perform at the awards include Rihanna, Whitney Houston, Green Day, Lil' Wayne, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Keith Urban, Jay-Z and Carrie Underwood, while Janet Jackson will open the show with a medley of songs.
