On "Fresh Out The Oven" and the nickname Lola.
They had already picked a lead single for the new album 'Love?,' when the head of Jen's record company, Amanda Ghost, came up to Jen and said "I have this record that Pharrell did, you just have to [record it]." They both loved the record a lot but it really didn't fit with the whole concept of the new album.

Amanda was like "Let's just record it." So they did and after recording Jennifer thought it still didn't fit the album so Amanda came with the idea to "just throw [the record] out there, you don't even have to put your name on it." Jennifer said that Marc always calls her Lola so that's why they decided to go with that. Jennifer goes on to say that it was just before the first single and that it won't even be on the album but goes on to say that she will maybe put it on the album as a bonus track.

She also says that it was really fun to shoot the video because of the fact that her name wasn't literally attached, so she could experiment with a whole different look. She also says that they only just finished cutting the video and that it already got out- which is not true, by the way.

On why there's a question mark in the album title, "Love?"
"Because, why not 'cause honestly, isn't it the most confusing thing in the world, Love?" DJ Skee agrees but says that she's already happily married and with twins. She goes on to say that "It's not so much about my marriage as it is about my expierences throughout my life." she also says that love has been a red line through her music carreer and that she always sang about it but that she wanted to go deeper this time.

Funny is that she tells how Marc was so upset about the questionmark in her album title because he was like "people are going to think that something is wrong [with their relationship]," she goes on to say that that's definately not the case and that everything's good between her and Marc. She also says that it's not about being angry [at love] either, but that it really is about questioning "What it is, [love?]."

On the sound of the album.
DJ Skee asks her what the sound of the album is like and says that the first single is more urban but that Jennifer has done a lot of things throughout her career. Jennifer says that, "It's consistent with everything I've always done, like you said there's a little bit of urban, a little bit of pop and there's a little bit of dance. I've always been able to mix all of it really well and on this album we've did the same."

On why she releases the album now, with the music industry being the way it is.
She doesn't really care cause she just wants to make music for herself, she's aware of the illegal downloading that's going on and that not many people buy albums anymore. But that as an artist she just wants to put new stuff out no matter how the music industry will be, she'll always continue to make music, for herself- they have a studio in their house - when she thinks she has something to say.

"I really don't think about the state of the music business, I'll let other people worry about that, I'll worry about making good music that people are going to relate to."

On the relase of the album and first single "Louboutins"
She says that the album will be out "early next year." She will be premiering the first single in one week at the American Music Awards. The song is about a when you're in a point of the relationship where you find out that it doesn't work this way and that you want to get out.

"The song is actually about making the decision [of leaving]. But it's not the girl that's like 'I'm going to take my stuff and I'm going to put on my sweatpants and I'm going to cry and my girlfriends are going to pick me up and then we are going to eat ice cream.' It's not that girl. This girl is putting on her hottest dress and her sexiest Louboutin shoes and leaving your ass!"

When asked if she's taking that from personal expierence she says, "I've had to do it. Sometimes you just got to do it. You have to put on your Louboutins and you're like 'this is what you're missing, bye bye!'."

On celebrity culture and tabloids right now.
"It definately has changed. The couple of years when I was on the cover of US, it was just that. And now it's just so instant [it'll be out in no time via internet]." She says that you yourself as a celebrity have the power to change your image and dissapear from the limelight. She says that she didn't know how to but that Marc helped her with that.

She also says that the tabloids can be negative but that it can also positive because "It's so easy to get to the fans, it's so easy to kinda just reach out and say 'You know, I'm doing this and this is a good thing I'm doing, you know, I didn't just slipped and fall of the sidewalk, I also recorded my best record today'."

On Twitter and Kim Kardashian convincing her to join.
She talks about having more access to her fans these days, having twitter and how she's really new to it and doesn't know a lot about computers, joking how she barely can logon to the computer. She explains how Kim Kardashian convinced her to go on twitter when they were at the Miami Dolphins vs. The Saints game. She tells how Kim came over and that she said that she should join and that she'd start a petition on twitter to get her to join - which she did by tweeting #GetJLoToTweet.

"Kim is a real sweetheart," she goes on to say. In the end she also joined because "it's a way of connecting to your fans and telling them what you're thinking and doing as opposed to [other] people telling them what they think [I'm] doing or what they thought they saw."

On her upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live.
She will be hosting and be a musical guest around February or March to promote her new movie "The Back-Up Plan." She says that, "It's always so scary because it's live and you're doing [the two things] at the same time so it's like running around the whole time, people pulling clothes off you and [at the same time still] be you. It will be interesting but I've done it before."

On 2010 being a busy year for Jen.
When DJ Skee tells her that 2010 will be a busy year for her with the movie, album, snl etc. she says "Yeah, but it's OK 'cause for the past couple of years I've been at home with the babies and at home and that's really good but it's time to get back to work." She tells that the past few years have been one of the most fulfilling in her life thus far. "I think also as an aritst you need that time. You actually have to live life and expierence things to have something to say. That was a good time and now I have something to say."

On her fave place to go out to eat.
"Oh god, I love Madeo's, they have great food, I love cupcakes with sprinkles and plain chocolate on chocolate, that's my flavor, with a little bit of milk [laughs], I get real young... real 6 years old [when getting chocolate]."

On debuting her new single at the American Music Awards.
"I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous and scared." She goes on to reference a Mike Tyson documentary where he says "Everytime I walk towards the ring I was so scared, like literally terrified, but I was confident."

That's how she feels about her debuting the song for the first time at the AMA's. "You're prepared, you get ready and you do it but you will still feel the fear, that fright, 'what is that crazy thing I'm going to do.' but you're confident 'cause you know that this is what you're ment to do. So you just do it."

During the interview they also talked about Jay Z and Michael Jackson. Saying that she loves Jay Z's new album and that MJ's "Smooth Criminal" is her fave music video by Mike.
