To someone who said movies because its more her.. I think its the other way around I remember her saying once that she loves to do all three (movies, music and
dancing) because to her each of them she is very passionate about and its like all in one but most importantly I remember her saying she loved to do music
because it was more her and it was more close to who she was...
Anyway to answer the question I think it's easier for her to comeback in movies definately because I noticed alot of people dont have respect for artists in there 40's and they just don't sell as much as the younger singers (in the United States anyway) unless you are very respected like Madonna but I think she can come back because she has alot of sex appeal and talent... but personally I like her music better.. and I think everyone likes a comeback especially in music.. I also believe she wasn't a International Superstar until she released her debut single "If You Had My Love" which took her to #1 and the Top 5 and 10 in many countires along with the that well known video.. yea alot of people in the U.S. knew her as this up and coming Latina actress in Hollywood who made big with Selena but I don't think she was well known in like ALL households until she came out as a singer/dancer in 1999. But yea I mean not to say I don't like her movies but the only reason I watch them is because "JLO" is in them not really who she's portraying in the movie or really what it's about (sometimes I do) lol idk I think personally me and many other JLo fans would rather listen to a JLo song and dance our asses off then to sit down and watch a movie thats just my opinion sorry moviegoers lol |
