I think her gay fan based is probably based on the fact that some of her male fans happen to be gay and not that she appeals so much to the gay market like
Gaga or Madonna.
I'd say Britney's gay fans also happen to be fans first but for her its HUGE because when she started in the music industry there were probably a lot of confused young queerlings who aspired to be her (before she started eating Cheetos and raiding gas stations). |

^ Definitely, but I think straight men typically are less interested than a woman or gay men in buying albums or concert tickets. But Jen needs to work every
