For about as long as they're married, there's been rumors of them moving to a condo, e.g. in South Beach, Miami, Fischer Island, etc. (< i know next to nothing about the last one, lol ) .
But as a fan, i'm only thinking of safety. .

Sorry for the ^ ^ confusion. Some of the earlier comments reminded me how caution's important in sharing personal info. w/ the anonymous public ( = " But as a fan, i just want them to be safe" ). |

To be fair, he's not the one who said where, lol. But every time they go to Miami the Miami Herald says they visited the Icon building because they're
looking for a new home, so I'm sure they confirmed it, lol.

Stop us if you've heard this story before: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are allegedly buying a three bedroom, two and
a half bath, 2050 square foot condo at Icon Brickell. Sound familiar? That's right, years ago, before the big real estate bust, the duo allegedly bought
the penthouse at Icon South Beach. That never happened. Clearly they have a thing for Philippe Starck, but rumor has it that beleaguered
developer Jorge Perez has more of a thing for having celebrity residents to boost sales of the troubled building and there may be some
incentive stuff going on in this supposed deal. In fact, the Anthonys were seen schmoozing with Perez at the Viceroy at Icon several months ago. Whatever the
case, Anthony is pretty excited about the whole thing, telling People that the apartment is
going to be "the sexiest place in town." In addition to the Lopez-Anthony "buy," we are told that the two bedroom, two bath 1450
square foot unit next door to them will be sold to the Dolphins of which the couple is now a minority owner. Hmm. As for the apartment next to that one? We
hear Venus and Serena Williams are in the market for a deeply discounted or
free Miami condo, too.
Sounds about right. |

Interesting. Yeah, there have been long time rumors about them buying there. I wonder if it will actually boost sales though.
To be fair, he's not the one who said where, lolOh yeah he didn't. lol He was a little more open than usual though. Showing his happiness I guess.

Link: http://www.realestatechan...liams-elton-ash-1446.php GLOBAL CONDO ROUND-UP (Miami Portions of Article ) by Alex Finkelstein 09 - 28 - 09 (MIAMI, FL) -- Local celebrity-oriented publications report Actress Jennifer Lopez and singer Marc Anthony have purchased three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath, 2,050-square-foot condominium at developer Jorge M. Perez's largely unsold 1,646-unit Icon Brickell in Miami's financial district. The price was undisclosed but local industry sources in a position to know say the deal was for at least $1 million. That would place the 2,050-square-foot home at about $500 per square foot, probably half of its original construction cost. The celebrity sheets also report a two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,450-square-foot condo, next door to the Lopez-Anthony unit, is being sold to Miami Dolphins as a corporate guest suite. Lopez-Anthony are reported to be minority shareholders in the NFL Dolphins. As if that speculation isn't enough, the celebrity publications additional note that global tennis star sisters Venus and Serena Williams are also shopping for "a deeply discounted" Miami condo. Stay tuned. (MIAMI, FL) -- The Bithell--Stalmach Team of RE/MAX Executive Realty reports sales of condos, co-ops, townhouses and villas in Miami in August totaled 364 versus 268 in August 2008. New listings, however, were down 25.1 percent - 1,111 compared to 1,492 in August 2008. The average sales price also was down 6.1 percent -- $236,063 vs. $251,352. The year-to-date average price, too, was down 41.8 percent -- $173,697 versus $298,188 a year ago at this time. The RE/MAX team took their numbers from the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County. |

This weeks Intouch Magazine has a 3 1/2 page spread about them buying the condo. There are some pics of the inside of one of the units, quotes from Jen (old I
think), and a short article. I just skimmed through it at the store.

MIAMI-Locally based Related Group confirmed Monday that entertainment power couple Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez have purchased a condominium unit in the
company's Icon Brickell development. Anthony, a popular singer/actor and part-owner of the Miami Dolphins, was in town to perform the national anthem for
Monday night's game versus the New York Jets at Land Shark Stadium.
"We are thrilled that Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez have selected Icon Brickell for their new home in Miami," Kenneth Smuts, Related Group vice president, said in a prepared statement. He declined to disclose additional details of the condo sale, noting that the deal had not yet closed. People magazine reported on its Web site nearly three weeks ago that Anthony and Lopez, also a singer and actor, were buying a home at Icon, a 1,650-unit complex with three towers up to 60 stories high at 465 Brickell Ave. in Downtown Miami. "When we are through decorating the condo, it will be one of the sexiest places in town," Anthony said at the time. Meanwhile, the Miami Condo Investments blog stated that the couple signed contracts on 10 Icon units over the weekend, paying a reduced price between $350 and $400 per square foot. Smuts told the Daily Business Review that he was "not aware" of such a deal. Anthony is connected to Related Group chief Jorge Perez by a small financial interest in the Dolphins. Stephen Ross, a minority partner in Related Group, owns 95% of the National Football League franchise while the other 5% is shared among VIPs such as musicians Emilio and Gloria Estefan and tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, according to ESPN. Sales of Miami luxury condos are becoming a more common occurrence. This summer, pro basketball star Amar'e Stoudemire paid $5.6 million for a 4,841-square-foot
penthouse unit at W South Beach at 2201 Collins Ave., Daily Business Review reported.
