I've seen her up close a few times, but never met her or talked to her. So this was NUTS! I still can't believe it, lol.

When we got there, it was about 11:30, so we watched them film for a bit. They were filming a scene where they walk and talk for about a block. The first two (dark) pics are from there. Flash pics weren't allowed, for obvious reasons, lol.

At around midnight, they stopped, and I think that OJF's video is from right after. So, we crossed over to where they had her cake set up. She was really excited and cute, lol. She was sweet and talking to everyone. Here's a quick video:


Sorry it's so short, but Luis didn't want people taping/taking pics. He kept yelling at people, and we didn't want to get on his bad side, lol.

We sang Happy Bday and then they presented her with the mini Bentley, lol. She was joking around with all the people. They cut the cake and handed out cupcakes to all of her people. We were super close, as you can see from the pics, but Arlene was in front of me. After she got her piece, they were getting set to walk across, so I got prepped to do it before she started talking to someone else.

It's all a blur, but I think how it happened was, I called her name and she turned. I had the book held up in front of me, and told her it was from all her fans she was like "Awww, OMG, that's so sweet!" She said something like, "Can I get a hug?" So, she hugged me. At that point, my sister said I wanted a pic (haha! huge props to her!) so she said "sure!" and told her bodyguards it was fine. She had the book in one hand and her cake in the other, so she used the book hand to wrap her arm around me and I said, "oh, wait! the book needs to be in the pic!" so I grabbed it and held it and then gave it back when she took the pic. She thanked me again and we wished her a happy birthday again and then we walked off on cloud 9, lmao. We were around the block by the time I was like, OMG, we should go back! Sorry if I'm repeating myself. I forget who I told what to, lol.


I'm surprised I wasn't a bumbling idiot, but there are so many things I wish I would have said, lol. It all happened so fast and I was SO stressed out I didn't have my spiel prepped, lol.

But, anyway, we went back and she was sitting at the monitor watching the scene they'd just filmed. Then, I could see her flipping through it. Marc was with her and I think Alex, and maybe a couple other people. They would look and tell a story or whatever. A short while later, Arlene came over and thanked me. Said Jen LOVED it, as I could see and that she was going to take it to her car to make sure it wasn't lost.

After that, Jen just hung out right near the monitors and Marc and Alex were hanging out smoking cigars and shooting the breeze right next to me, lol. They both caught my eye and smiled and sort of waved/nodded, so I did the same. Marc spit right in front of me and then apologized, lmao. I was going to ask them for a pic, but they were joking around and laughing so I didn't want to interrupt.

After a good while, they started shooting again and we left around 2 am. I don't know when they wrapped.
