Bachelor of Jen-ology Posts: 1290 06/15/09 9:39 PM Taller In More Ways	As much as I love Jen, I think with the current state of record sales a gold record would be decent. I mean look at Black Eyed Peas...a #1 single for 9 weeks, and they are gonna open around 250k or so... It's pretty hard to sell tons of albums these days, so even a top 10 single would be nice. But I'm at the point where I don't have any expectations, I'm just excited to have new music. It can flop ala Brave, and I'll still love it I'm sure

Master of Jen-ology Posts: 3474 06/16/09 2:46 AM Cherish my words, they're golden	Great news about the new full studio record, this is exciting. It's great that we may have a new full album by the end of 2009 :-) I like that they know a focussed concept and title, that will mean that the songs all fit well together and tie-in to the theme. That's what she did with On The 6, and especially with This Is Me...Then (my fave Jen album). Other records (Rebirth and J.Lo, for example), are brilliant too but conceptually are not tied in well. There's a lot of different stuff on them.

It was all dance, except for mid-album break tracks like Come Over and Secretly. I love the direction Jen is going and I love the leaked songs One Love and What Is Love, but I really want Jen to do a Poker Face song that hits and takes over the world by Tsunami!

I think J.Lo was supposed to be a fun latin flavoured summer album. And i'm 100% sure there will be up-tempo tracks on the album. But that doesn't garantee a hit anyway, Do It Well was up-tempo and wasn't a hit either. It's not like lets create a "Poker Face", if it was so easy everyone would've done it already.

I think people don't care about lyrics of the song now at all, they listen just to beats,music. Why not to stay 'frozen for a moment' and to listen to beautiful song like "Be Mine" and "Wrong when you're gone" with smart and nice lyrics???????

She can easily do another J.Lo album (especially with Benny), or she can do another album like Brave. I guess we are just gonna have to wait and see. But based on her past record sales, I think if she geared towards her first two albums then she will do better IMO. But if she sticks to the slower "love" songs with meaning, then she may have a hit (like All I Have) or she may not (like Hold You Down).

What Is Love could easily be 2nd, cuz the next step in the process will probably wondering if you ever gonna find love. I think as the album continues a guy will get caught her attention again, maybe One Love. next song probably about being in love. marrying next think the album will close with a tribute song for the twins (we know she recorded one cuz there were reports they played the song at the Noche de Niños gala) and this song will probably symbolize true happiness. dont know if this is the concept for sure, but I truly think it is!
