Bachelor of Jen-ology Posts: 2757 06/06/09 12:33 PM Lola&Papi	Tags : None I asked few friends, asked my mum, asked my cousin and they all basically said.."hmm let me think" and never ever suggested anything...I'm thinking BB was probably the first place to ask for suggestions for a birthday present for a best friend... She is 19 and loves clothes but our taste in fashion is a little different so I'm not sure... Any suggestions? Let me know pleaseeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

I am the least talented person when it comes to picking presents! I'm considering make up, watch, wallet! If I do decide on getting her clothes...I have to try really hard lol we'll see.. I'll look around a bit this week.. Got her jewellery and perfume before, I wouldn't want regular cliche gifts..you know! Hot pants is a good idea but it's winter in Australia at the moment.. If anything else come up please let me know! I still have a bit less than 2 weeks to make up my mind..Thanks again!

Do you have to necessarily buy her a gift? Maybe you can surprise her and take her out to one of her favorite clothing stores. And you two have fun picking out an outfit. Or if not maybe get her a gift card (I know I know its lame) but to make it not lame consider a creative packaging. For my neice's birthday gift I gave her a clown jack in the box, and when he popped out he was holding tickets to the circus (which I took her to a few weeks later) or for my boyfriend for christmas I made him my own Britney Spears Circus cd (with the cd jacket and me singing the songs) and when he opened it, Britney Spears concert tickets were hidden behind the cd. So whatever you do, just get really creative with it. People love when you put effort and time into a gift.

There was this denim vest she wanted last month..and now its on sale..I saw that today while browsing..it is from her fav. store..so she can always return it and pick something else up if she feels she doesn't want the vest anymore...it's almost same as a gift card? So a denim vest is one thing..after that I still have wallet, watch, make up..in mind.. It doesn't necessarily have to be a gift..I wish there was a Jusitn Timberlake concert coming up..she would love tickets to that! lol We have nothing JLo over here! This department store used to stock Jlo stuff but no longer! You guys are way too helpful than my so called friends and family! lol Thanks again and again! Let me know if something come up!
