STORY
On March 20th 2006 it was announced in a press release that Jennifer would perform live in concert at the Dubai Autodrome April 27th 2006. Tickets went on sale March 22th, the first 10.000 tickets sold out in 30 min, the rest were only sold in Dubai. One day after the tickets for the Dubai concert went on sale Jenniferlopez.com announced three more concerts, one in Mumbai, in Athens and in Istanbul.
Later on Sofia, Bulgaria was announced in a press release. On April 11th Samantha told us Jennifer was rehearsing her ass off. After this things got confusing: different sources, telling different things. Some telling the concerts where cancelled, others telling they where postponed and some even denying every change. A few days later the official site announced the tour was officially postponed, the reason was believed to be the re-designing of the tour because of big demand for tickets.
Every fan from around that time knows what happened next...... the whole tour got cancelled. Below the press release from Mirage Promotions with three concerts cancelled that weren't even announced yet :
A reason for cancelling the tour was never given. Jen did make up for cancelling the Athens concert though by performing live in concert in Athens in 2007.

Jennifer Lopez Live in Concert Cancelled
Jennifer Lopez informed us last night that she has decided to cancel her entire Spring Tour including all the shows she has contracted to perform at in Athens, Baku, Dubai, Moscow, Mumbai, Sofia and Thessaloniki later this month.
We have been given no further details at this time and intend to attempt to have further discussions on behalf of each of the promoters of these shows with the artist and her management.
In the meantime, the tour promoters will ensure that full refunds will be made to all ticket holders through usual channels. Ticket holders should contact their local ticket outlet for further information.
Your local promoter will release more information as soon as possible.
