i'm the only one not happy about the news
 , i wished she would
have taken a break from the music after the GH particularly after 2 failure, another flop would be a disaster. + 2 years between albums isn't enough.

I think that if she releases another new album, it will be a huge production. But, if the GH doesn't do well, I think she needs to take a break for a
while. But you know Jen, lol.
I thought the GH would finish her contract with Sony? Perhaps she resigned with them on the DL.

i could be wrong but i don't see her having a come back with the music she lost most of her following, but if she managed to do it then great for her but
if she doesn't well she's gonna end up like Paula Abdul, i know she has the film carrer but it's gonna hurt that too.
i know i'm too pessimist, but i guess it's good thing that she has Benny back with her he's good with promotion but i'm pretty sure it's gonna be back to overexposure and backlash on her. |

That's what I'm afraid of. Overexposure again.
I don't want to count her out music-wise. All it takes is one song to turn things around. |

Yeah, that's a huge priority- repair her relationship with US radio.
But, if the next album does not do well, she needs to stop, because it's only going to be a bad mark on her record, you know? Like, every article will mention her 3 underperforming albums, you know? Even if her movie career takes off again. I think it'll be easier for her to do well in movies. And as Nuyorican gets more experience and she gets more experience producing and stuff, hopefully she'll be able to make really good movies with Nuyorican. |

If Jen wants to successful with her album sales i do think she needs some type of overexposure sad to say =/ Look at britney and her over exposure, everyone

Yeah I would be surprised - although nothing really confirms there is a new album (t4p nadia!)
I think over exposure can sometimes help for music but is bad for film. I agree with both your points I think it is difficult in music and I would prefer her to do a well promoted GHits & Tour then concentrate on movies for a couple of years. Although I do agree with Heather that music is more fickle and one big hit track would bring her back and she can ride the rest off the album off the back of that. I thought we were more likely to get a new Spanish album after the G.Hits. Why do you guys think there is a new album - just because of that comment saying 'we got three on JLO'? |

Oh yeah - I so think that its Benny who has been pushing her to do a new english album - I think he wants to do a music and rom-com comeback (basically what he
used to) - If she doesn't do any new studio albums no money for Benny.
It wouldn't surprise me if Benny put Jen in touch with B M Cox seeing as he worked on Mariah's last two albums . |
