Tags : None Ok so even though two of my closest friends are madonna fans, i still don't know about: the givenchy outfit/what it looks like the gimme more/human nature mashup or any britney involvement at all - this is definitely the only thing im excited to see i checked drownedmadonna.com but they're only showing pics of one outfit which is hideous and unflattering on madge.

STICKY & Sweet is the third Madonna tour I have seen. I expected controversy and her trademark raunch in Cardiff, but for the first time there was no talking point like the Crucifixion scene from Confessions in 2006 or the electric chair on Re-Invention in 2004. She had a tough task improving on those shows but she has done it yet again. Madonna didn't stop dancing in a show that had most of her fans pausing for breath. The four main acts were punctuated by video. Get Stupid was a satire of political leaders - ending on an image of BARACK OBAMA. The Rain interlude was a computerised, sexless version of Madonna made to resemble her hero DAVID BOWIE to the sound of EURYTHMICS classic Here Comes The Rain Again. More clever samples and mash-ups filtered through the set list. FELIX's rave anthem Don't You Want Me mixed brilliantly with Like A Prayer, turning the stadium into a gigantic dancefloor. FEDDE LE GRAND's Put Your Hands Up For Detroit was a smart choice for the girl from Michigan to borrow for a techno version of Music. TIMBERLAKE, TIMBALAND, KANYE and PHARRELL were all present - in video form. I hate seeing Madonna play guitar but her rock version of Borderline became a thrash of STOOGES-style chords. The gipsy section went over a few heads but it was class. She was joined by a Ukrainian folk trio she knows through GOGOL BORDELLO star EUGENE HUTZ. She's Not Me was another highlight. Madge attacks four of her dancers dressed as her images from the past. Madonna's energy and performance is incredible. I doff my cap to a 50-year-old pole-dancing and double-dutch skipping mother. McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds angrily condemned the segment of Madonna's concert in Cardiff on Saturday that appeared to draw a comparison between McCain, Hitler and Zimbabwean strongman Robert Mugabe. "The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time," Bounds said in a statement reported by Fox News. "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits." Madonna's apparent swipe at McCain came during a performance of the song "Get Stupid", when the Republican contender's image was flashed up alongside images of destruction and global warming as well as Hitler and Mugabe. Towards the end of the song, pictures of Beatles star John Lennon, former US vice-president Al Gore, Indian Mahatma Gandhi and McCain's Democrat rival Barack Obama appeared. As Madonna kicked off her "Sticky and Sweet" tour on Saturday, she took a none-too-subtle swipe at John McCain. Amid a four-act show, a video interlude carried images of destruction, global warming, Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, Zimbabwe's authoritarian President Robert Mugabe - and the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. Another sequence, shown later, pictured slain Beatle John Lennon, climate activist Al Gore, Mahatma Gandhi and finally Barack Obama. The rest of the show had the usual Madonna fixtures: sequins, fishnets and bondage-style outfits drawn from the 3,500 items of clothing reportedly whipped together by 36 designers specifically for the tour. Forty thousand fans - many in pink cowboy hats and boas - were treated to a heavy metal "Borderline," while "La Isla Bonita" was backdrop for a flamenco routine. Doctor of Jen-ology Posts: 5755 09/04/08 5:14 PM [I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not] Most Dedicated J.Lo Fan '07 Most Dedicated J.Lo Fan '08 BB'er Bankrupt Due to Jen BB'er w/Most Miles in their Shoes for Jen	I went Tuesday, have to say it was fucking amazing! damn what a show, without a doubt one of the best concerts I've ever seen (especially visually) the visual stuff on the videowalls were crazy, seriously amazing!!! she had lots of special elements in the show like a boxing ring, tapdanser, gypsy dancer, classic car, 4 dancers dressed in older Madonna looks (during She's Not Me) LOVED IT. she dances and jumps around on the stage like a 25-30 year old. but I doubt she sang live most of the time, when she sang Ray Of Light u could hear right away it was live and it didnt sound that good. so I wonder how many songs she did live actually but still props to Madonna, no wonder she is calles the queen of pop
