Sounds good to me. I will say though, I'm not at all interested in the Disney series whatsoever. Ever since Jen's lawyers basically admitted that Jen
personally had no real input in producing South Beach except for "lending celebrity" to the project - I never consider these serious or substantial
as a fan.

I thought it was obvious from the start that she wasn't involved in South Beach. I don't think the point is for her to be involved with all of them.
She wants to build a self sustaining company.
I think she's involved with a few of them, like EC and DanceLife. The fact that Nuyorican scored a deal with Disney is a MAJOR coup. Disney invests a lot into their kids and shows and they make them hits. All of Disney's shows are hits. This is absolutely huge whether or not she is directly involved in the project. |

Its my little brother "leons" birthday tomorrow.. he will be 4 ! He always watches disney channel for some reason.. which meens i gotta watch it

^ Benny wasn't good at picking movies it wasn't all him but when she was with him she did some of her worst films but it seem to me like if he's
back he's only involved in the music, since she has those agents + Simon Field. |

Yeah I think its a good idea Benny is just invloved with the music & Simon sticks to Nuyorican & other business interests.
I suppose the good thing with Benny around is that its another wealthy person who can invest in her. It would be a good idea to add him to the list of producers for TG not really for creative reasons just for stronger financing like he did for MIM. If you think about it Benny left around the time of Gigli but by that time she had already signed for SWD & MIL and she had BT & EC for years, & the same with CAUM so really she hasn't been doing anything theat he hasn't already known about it. Its like no time has passed really. |

I can assure you that Benny did not help finance MIM. MIM was done by a major studio. Managers and celebs just throw their names in for more credit. Anyone can
exec produce. South Beach is a prime example. Jen was an exec producer and she had nothing to do with it.

To be honest I'm actually feeling good about this decision. I believe that going down this route particulary with her acting career is the right move on
her part. I believe that her best films have been her dramas and I believe she does have amazing acting skills, but has yet used them fully. She has a lot of
potential but unfortunately I don't believe she's been tapping into it. I think we've come close to it in El Cantante & Selena, but still, I
know she is capable of much more and I think both her and her husband know it. I wish her the best, and hopefully this new path with her husband, her kids,
and family will help her showcase what she needs to let out of her. I want to see the Jennifer Lopez I know is there!

Building a strong production company for herself is really smart. If she wants to be in better movies & projects, this way she can find and develop them
herself, and doesn't need to convince a studio she can do it.
And I believe Eric Gold was her manager when she starred in her earlier/more interesting films (i.e Selena, B&W, U-Turn), not Benny. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
