ok, this is my town, and it will be longer presentation then yours couse I want you to see more about it. But yet this is just 10% of whole city, and this is what you must see when you come here

I live in Belgrade, capital of Serbia, for the ones who doesnt know this is in Europe next to Croatia, Italia, Montenegro...
In my lanuange Belgrade means "white city" and it was called like that couse it has only white buildings when it was founded in 269 BC in Celtic period.
Most of historical part now is from Otoman emirie that ruled here for 500 years and it ened up in 19th century.
Today here lives 21% of whole nation.

Belgrade is located on two rivers Sava and Danube, and they are gather as one in front of city fortress, that is the building that you can see as Belgrade in 16th century

and the frotress now looks like this






and if you noticed there is a guy that stands on this fortress, his name is The Victor and he celebrates victory and freedom of Serbian nation from Otoman empire (now Turky)

This is the building that Vuk Karadzic left to be in Belgrade for his life. He is very important couse he invented Serbian letters and languange in 18th century.
Before that, there where different versions of Serbian languange, couse of influce of people who ruled country in that time, like Turkish, German, Rusian, Serbian,
so he put all that in one languange that is official and in that form we use it now

This is the biggest church in my country and its called St Savas temple. It is very important couse St Sava was acualy one of our Kings in 12th centry,but
he didnt want to rule he wanted to be prist, so he became one and estabished Ortodox Chitianty for Serbian nation
