ok since I'm so hyped up and obsessed with the new Batman flick The Dark Night and since there's like no Jen news lately I started this topic.
I always loved Batman, watched the cartoons as a kid in the 90's. Poison Ivy has always been my fav villian.
got me thinking since there will most definatly be a new Batman movie after The Dark Night I'd love Poison Ivy to be one of the villians in it. and I think
Jennifer would be perfect for the part. I think a latino body will be perfect for Ivy, Jen can move so sensual, exotic and sexy, she is really lady like, a
classic beauty, can be a lil mysterious and is just a powerfull woman.
think would be a good move for Jen to do, cos the movie will be a huge blockbuster. and she can show off her acting skills in it, since Nolan (the director)
really digs deep into the characters and really shows their story, emotions and thoughts. he always makes the villians more realistic, they actually could be
real persons. look at what Heath Ledger did with the Joker.
a lil info bout the character:
Poison Ivy is depicted as one of the world's most prominent eco-terrorists.
She is obsessed with plants, botany, and environmentalism. She uses toxins from
plants and her own bloodstream for her criminal activities, which are usually aimed at protecting the natural environment. She creates love
potions that ensnare Batman, Superman, and other strong-willed individuals. Fellow villain Harley Quinn is her recurring partner-in-crime and possibly her only human friend.

Yeah! I've never thought about Jen portraying this character. She would make a great Poison Ivy! I've been a fan of Batman as well, since I was a little. |

LMAO you know you posted a pic of Jean Grey as the Phoenix in there? I don't think Jen could do Poison Ivy IMO. I'd rather Jen play Wonder Woman lol,
but in the sense and feel as the Batman comics, nothing like the cheesy Fantastic Four or Superman movies.

This seems like a really interesting character, I don't know if Jen could/would want to carry off some of those looks/costumes, but she could definitely do
the look featured in that Vogue spread, a glamorous, surreal version (as opposed to overtly sexy). I'm just having trouble figuring out how either looks
would fit any sense of reality.. like, the joker and his look is a little crazy but not unrealistic - a psycho could want to paint his face like that... but
would a female villain want to dress so amazingly glamorous or trampish? i haven't seen the direction the new movie's taken but from the clips ive seen
it does seem like they're trying to be more realistic/less supernatural.

I'm sure negotiations have already begun for the rest of the Batman movies.
I agree though, Jen could be cool as Poison Ivy. I thought Uma Thurman was the only good part of Batman & Robin though, when she played Poison Ivy. |

I think the character Poison Ivy (if she's part of the next film and is going to be portrayed realistically (sp?) like Joker) would be a woman with extreme views of the environment (picture Peta for plants) and would probably be just a psycho that places venemous plants in people's mouth or something. 
Anyway, if Jen were to play a Batman character I'd have her play Catwoman.

Uma was okay as Poison Ivy, although she did have the nerdy-earthy part down pat.
No way! I'm sorry...Michelle Pfeifer rocked it as Catwoman. I think she did a damn good job! |

Jen would be cool in any Batman movies...Catwoman, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, etc. Batman is the only superhero movies that I always love.

I cant really imagine her as Catwoman (Selina Kyle) or Batgirl
Selina Kyle, Catwoman in real life, is blonde and doesnt really have a latin body type. atleast in the animated series from the 90's I used to watch. Batgirl is commissionor Gordon's daughter and way too young for Jen too play. man I'd so love to see her as a crazy/psycho environment/botanic terrorist Poison Ivy, I just cant get over it hahaha |

Well, Jen's played blondes before, and that body would be sizzling in the original catsuit. I mean, c'mon, if Halle Berry can be half-black and play
Catwoman, I doubt Jen's ethnicity should be an issue lol Although, I understand the need for preserving the original image, so ya got a good point
