Wow, cat fight up in here. I'm siding with the minority here: I doubt 2% of the target audience (i.e. MTV sheep) are even aware that Jen put out an album,
nevermind the video itself. I'm not saying she's unworthy, but I think we should all be realistic and accept that Jen didn't do enough to be on the
VMA-radar this year. I think most of us here are misunderstanding what "not deserving" means.

Sorry about my earlier post, i didnt mean to offend no one by saying the whole "true fan" thing. Thats not want i mean and im sorry. What i meant was
that in my opinion DIW was not bad, it was something diffrent she and LaChapell(dont know if i spelled right) brought out. and thats what it comes to in these
days with the music business. I do believe Jen deserves this VAM nomination because we are allways talking about Jen not getting nominations or awards, and now
that we have a chance to make her a nomonie, some are saying she doesnt deserve one. Well i guess it does come down to if u want her to be nominated. So once
agen sorry about my earlier post....

Okay, this "real fans vs. not real fans" thing is stupid. We are all fans - why else would we be here?
If you don't like the video, just don't vote for it. Simple as that. There is no need to drag up "poor promotion" and all that crap you've all been bitching about for 90 years now. MEMORIZE THIS FACT: Jen does not control her promotional appearances. SONY SCHEDULES AND CONTRACTS THEM. If she doesn't appear where you want her to, it is not her decision. Despite her fame and clout, when it comes to big business and the bottom line (aka Sony's money) she doesn't get much say, if any. |

QH was a really successful single & bigger than DIW. QH sold a lot & importantly had longevitySooo true. I was lying in my bed two nights ago and I couldn't sleep so I switched my alarm to the radio station and was looking for anything and when I hit the Spanish station and they were in the middle of QH. I took it as a sign and I blew up my car. Okay, no but I thought it was so weird that more than a year after it's release it's still being played on the radio. The fact that English radio won't play her songs is what really killed DIW. |

Agree that we should concentrate on Best Dancing in video. Dance break from DIW is the best moment of this video.
