^ I wish Jen had a stronger fan base to help Brave reach 1 million... I bought 3 copies of Brave, but that's all. No more money to feed Sony and Jenny. I
work my ass off too!
Most Intrepid. Period.
Light Travels faster than sound. That's why people appear to be bright until you hear them
speak...
I noticed that Brit's "Blackout" didn't sell that well, either. I was expecting for "Radar" released but it was shelved.
^Jen has a STRONG fan base. It's evident... with us. Britney could sell anything because she's a PHENOMENON already. Ask any girl from the 90s/early
2000 who would they like to be. It's always Brit. Lol. That was before, anyways.

I only have one copy ... I guess blackout didnt do amazing...but it did way better than everyone expected...
not really. Jen has never had strong fan base. We are hardcore Jlo fans, and we're no more than 100 people in the world.
Jen was successful, but it wasn't because she had a strong fan base. It was because non-fans supported her.
i don't think people are her fans because she is producer (South Beach fans,DanceLife Fans...)
She doesn't have fans because she is a fashion designer lol (Justsweet fans,Sweetface fans)
I don't think there are only 100 hardcore Jen fans worldwide. More than 100 people post here and think of the millions that have never heard of BB, you
know? That's a huge understatement.
The reson why Brave didnt do well was because it was around the same time as Britney's album and Jennifer is not in the public eye for scandals and gossip
as much as Britney was at the time and of course everyone was going to get Britney and Brave was sort of in the shadow and forgotten.
But come on Lindsey? Ciara? Keri? they had there moments but its over now.
and
BRANDY????(what the hell, she is sill alive.lol)
Jen already had her moment as number 1, but Jen is one of those Artist that can always come back, but Lindsey, ciara, keri and Brandy are all done in their
music career.
Also Jen has Millions and Millions of Fans. But there divided into groups such as fans in Actress, Music, Bussines, Dancer, and fashion. Most of my friends
love Jen as an Actress and fashion, my mom loves Jen as a DAncer and Business Women. I love her in Everthing. It just depends. But Jen has SO MANY fans all
over the world and most are Hardcore fans. Cause Jen is one of those Celeberties that you either love or hate. SO your either a hardcore fan or not. lol
^well no fears about Lindsay Lohan (although from what i heard, her album may sound hot, but still, she has a very bad reputation), but Ciara will give Jen
some tough competition for sure (her last album The Evolution did well in the US and it had some hits like "Get up", "Like a boy"
"promise" etc.), and maybe Keri (she's kinda hot right now since "The Way I Are")
Also, even if she's a big star who do not need to promote her albums on every tv show, she has to do it this time around (like Mariah with "The
Emancipation...", it really worked).... Also, even if it's bad, payola would help her big time

So true.
People may be fans of her as an actress, but she still needs a good big budget movie for people to care and go see her movies. Her movie fans aren't all
hardcore fans. If they all were loyal and hardcore, Angel Eyes, Enough.... would have made the same amount of money as MIM, MIL, or at least TWP. And she was
huge during Enough!

I strongly agree that Jen was big because a large portion of non-fans supported her. BB is a loyal fan place, but I don't think we're that
many to be considered a fan base. Totaling up, I think maximum 200 copies of Brave have been bought by BB members. BB has a whole lot of memebers (as can be
see in the forum stats), but I see the same usual 10-15 users posting everyday discussing about Jen.
You've greatly underestimated the number, lol. 70 people posted today.
I don't think it's fair to say that she doesn;t have dedicated fans. Mariah Carey, who has a notorious fanbase still had flops. The general public
ALWAYS has to embrace someone's work. You won't be successful if hardcore fans alone buy your stuff.
the thing is it's not cool anymore to like Jennifer ever since the ridiculousness of Bennifer/Gigli etc.. i read many comments of non-fan who says i
don't like/not a fan of Jennifer Lopez/but she was great in this or this song is great they always have to mention that they don't like her before
complementing her that's something i noticed it's like they're ashamed to admit that they like something about her so they have to say first that
they aren't a fan of her.
I personally think that in therm of acting she should mostly make what she's the best at "everything but rom-com/comedy.
And since radios won't play her even with a Great commercial Pop song she should just make the music she likes without trying to make hits i wouldn't
mind CAUM part 2 in English.
well i find this interesting i know for a fact she would remix the songs or put alternate versions they usually do that.
however i feel neutral to the greatest hits album i would prefer another single from brave or better yet a compilation cd of unreleased material...hmmmmm
