Jenn has yet to give us her best and most personal album i'm sure, like "American life" was for Maddy, "Contol" for Janet or even
Stripped for X-tina. Also i want a song with the title ""You know what i mean?"

I think she already served it to us via CAUM/TIMT
nope i don't see them like that because for CAUM she didn't wrote the songs and both album are full of Love song (except maybe one for TIMT) and
i'm thinking about an album where she would sing about what she feels not only on love but on many subject like the albums i mentionned did, Pink's
"i'm not dead" is another one, if you know what i mean
not sure if this was posted
Rooney and Lopez worked closely together on her debut album (On The 6, serving as co-executive producers, and writing four songs together. Rooney
also co-wrote the breakthrough single, "If You Had My Love" (with Rodney Jerkins, Fred Jerkins III and LaShawn Daniels).
Rooney & Lopez continued their extensive collaboration for her follow-up album, J.Lo. He co-wrote seven
songs for the album, including the hits "Ain't It Funny, "I'm Real," "I'm Gonna Be Alright" and "Play."
"On 'Ain't It Funny,' Jennifer and I were in Canada, and we wanted to write a song [which was originally intended] for her movie, The
Wedding Planner," said Rooney. "The music popped in my head, and I went home and worked on the track. Then I sat with Jennifer and we banged
out the song. Tommy (Mottola) was even involved with writing the song. He was so enthusiastic about the track, that he contributed melody ideas to the
song."
The chart successes of both "I'm Real" and "Ain't It Funny" were boosted by innovative remixes by the production team of
Murder Inc., and duet vocals (with Lopez) by Ja Rule. "With the remix of 'I'm Real,' Tommy and I came up with something drastic,"
explained Rooney. "We wanted a version [of 'I'm Real'] which would be embraced by urban radio. We realized that urban radio was into Ja Rule
and Murder Inc., so we brought them in, not just to do a remix, but to help remake the record. They did such a great job with 'I'm Real,' that we
also had them work on 'Ain't It Funny.'"
Rooney has already begun co-writing with Lopez for her next album. "Working with Jennifer brings out the most creative part of me," said Rooney.
"She's got so many ideas. She keeps a big notebook filled with her concepts about music, plus titles and topics for lyrics. I call it her magic
book."
Rooney is keeping a very busy schedule, currently collaborating with Lopez and several other artists. He recently completed a new album with Marc Anthony,
and he is involved with other, top projects.

I agree. I'd love that too. And I 100% agree, I'm Not Dead is Pink's BEST work! She'll probably never top it.

Exactly. Just because she sung love songs doesn't make the album personal... Anyone else can buy the rights of the songs, and sing it. And its not
personal. Jen always wanted to make a SPANISH album, that was her passion project. Not 'an album full of love songs' was her passion project.
I want to Jen WRITE songs for her album on EVERYTHING that she can think of... and that would be personal album.
TIMT was the album she wrote in the most but I agree that Jen writing an entire album by herself (or with little help from others) about a variety of subjects
would be best.
I think it'd be cool of Jen wrote more, but I don't think it's absolutely necessary to get where she's coming from. I think CAUM is a personal
album for her because you get that a lot of the songs are meaningful to her. Como Ama Una Mujer (the song) is biographical, lol. Porque Te Marchas likely sums
up her feelings after Bennifer. Por Arriesgarnos is about her and Marc, etc.
I'm sure she talked to Estefano a lot, and told him what she wanted to say and how she was feeling.
One example I can think of is Celine Dion. She can't write songs, but she works very closely with writers and she basically tells them everything she can
about how she feels and what she wants to say, and so, the songs are about her and what she's feeling. Some people just don't have that ability where
they can write songs.
^ but we know that Jen can, (at least co-wrote them) like she did in OT6 and TIMT with Just corey Rooney + another writer sometimes, and not lie the many song
she "co-wote with something like 10 writers lol.
Madonna for exemple never or rarely wrote a song by herself in The "Music" album she co-wrote them all with Mirwais. Jen has a great working
relationshionship with Corey i'm sure she can write songs just with him.
It can't be! I could swear I read that article years ago, right before her TIM..T era, I remember it b/c of the "magic book" comment.
That's why the inside booklet of TIM...T was supposed to reflect that "magic book" look, which made the album one of Jennifer's most personal
albums in her career IMO.
I hope Jennifer doesn't work with Corey anymore, his production and beats are so dated and cheap. Stay away Jen!
